Busy Week for the Arts in California, especially through social media

Arts supporters in California were fully utilizing social networking and other internet sites this week, especially in Los Angeles where the City Council had a proposal to direct funds from the arts into the City's general fund. Tweets, posts, blogs and emails abounded and the measure didn't pass -- the Cultural Affairs budget remained intact. The California Arts Council kept folks informed through re-postings from the Los Angeles Times (see stories below) and our Facebook fans topped 1,000. Become a fan
