CREATE the STATE: Landmark convocation on arts education this week in Los Angeles The California Arts Council has teamed up with a significant host of fellow sponsors -- including the California Department of Education, the Fresno County School District, and various leaders in the business world -- to host a landmark convocation tackling arts education issues in California schools. Over 130 stakeholders met at Loyola Marymount University to participate in the "CREATE the STATE" convocation on October 13 and 14, 2011, with parts of the conference webcast live.You can also follow the conversation at Twitter hashtag #createCA.
