On Friday, December 20 Governor Brown announced the appointment of Donn Harris of San Francisco to the California Arts Council. Harris has been executive and artistic director at the Oakland School for the Arts since 2007.
The Otis Creative Economy Report on the L.A. Region will expand statewide with lead support from the California Arts Council. This commitment underscores our Council's belief that creativity is essential to California's successful workforce investment and economic development strategies.
The California Arts Council is looking for potential panelists to serve on 2014 and subsequent-year panels. We're looking for individuals who have in-depth, long-term and/or a variety of professional experiences in the arts, arts education, arts administration, arts in juvenile justice, and/or related fields.
