Council Meeting: Next Week in San Luis Obispo The Arts Council will meet on Thursday, September 22 at the Monday Club located at 815 Monterey St, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. Council Meeting: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Grants Workshop: 4 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend and address the Council during the public comment period. Arts Council Programs Officer Shelly Gilbride will provide an overview of the California Arts Council's state grant process and train local arts and culture nonprofit organizations in best practices for successful grant applications. Survey: California Cultural Districts Public InputThe California Arts Council is undergoing an extensive planning process for the development of California's first statewide cultural districts program. We're gathering input via public meetings, one-on-one interviews, and via a new survey. All interested parties are encouraged to weigh-in via the brief online survey, available at this link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/CAC-CD. The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
