Bloomberg Public Art Challenge encourages cities to createBloomberg Philanthropies' Public Art Challenge is back for 2018, inviting cities with 30,000 residents or more to submit proposals for projects that demonstrate close partnership between artists, arts organizations and city government. At least three cities will be selected to receive up to $1 million each over two years. The Public Art Challenge is a part of Bloomberg's American Cities Initiative, an effort to help U.S. cities generate innovation and advance policy. The deadline to apply is April 19.
