NEA Grant Opportunities: Art Works and Our TownDeadlines are upcoming for two National Endowment for the Arts grant categories: Art Works grants support artistically excellent projects that celebrate our creativity and cultural heritage, invite mutual respect for differing beliefs and values, and enrich humanity. The deadline for the second round of Art Works funding is July 12. Our Town grants support projects that integrate arts, culture, and design activities into efforts that strengthen communities by advancing local economic, physical, and/or social outcomes. Creativity at the Core Summer Institute in San DiegoThe California County Superintendents Educational Services Association (CCSESA) Arts Initiative is hosting a three-day summer institute on arts learning and California state standards, July 25-27 at the San Diego County Office of Education. Teachers, administrators, curriculum directors, artist educators, arts leaders, arts specialists, parents, and school board members are encouraged to attend.
