California Cultural Districts Program Evaluation RFPThe California Arts Council is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to complete a program evaluation of its California Cultural Districts program. Now that the program has completed its pilot year, the CAC aims to measure the strengths, deficiencies, and value of the program. The CAC will consider technical expertise in the arts and nonprofit fields, as well as aligning fields such as community development, housing, urban planning, and other social services. AFTA Advisory Council nominations due Oct. 5Americans for the Arts' four standing Advisory Councils—the Arts Education Advisory Council, the Emerging Leaders Advisory Council, the Private Sector Advisory Council, and the Public Art Network Advisory Council—are now open for nominations for new members to serve three-year terms beginning January 1, 2019. Members advise AFTA staff on programming and services to build a deeper connection to AFTA members and the arts and culture field as a whole.
