Open call for panelists: New honorarium offered for serviceThe call to serve as part of a California Arts Council peer-review panel for the 2018-19 grant season has begun! For the first time this year, panelists will receive an honorarium for their service in Sacramento. Young professionals and experienced cultural workers, artists, and arts policy makers are encouraged to apply as soon as possible - deadlines are November 15 and January 15. Arts organizations: Become an Arts in Corrections contractorThe California Arts Council is seeking proposals from arts organizations interested in providing arts programming to inmates at state adult correctional facilities through the agency's Arts in Corrections program. The Request for Proposals (RFP) aims to contract with Coordinating Organizations in order to further diversify the art disciplines and increase the number of current programs available based on the needs of the institutions.
