Arts Plate marketing consultant wantedThe California Arts Council is seeking a qualified full-service marketing agency or consultant to develop and execute a marketing campaign for the California Arts License Plate. The selected contractor will provide comprehensive marketing services in order to build awareness and increase sales of the California Arts Plate, including branding positioning, messaging, graphic design, marketing and media planning, digital strategy, advertising and website management. Reframing the Landscape of Justice Conference: 6/24-6/28California Lawyers for the Arts' and the William James Association's annual Arts in Corrections conference is now open for registration. The five-day national conference, taking place June 24-28 at Santa Clara University, will provide professional development opportunities for artists who work in correctional institutions at all levels, and best practices for arts administrators who would like to learn how to implement and manage these programs. CAC joins "Life Beyond Prison" conversation in Long BeachCAC Arts in Corrections Program Manager Mariana Moscoso will join fellow colleagues for Life Beyond Prison, a poignant discussion around the experiences of formerly incarcerated individuals, on April 30 at the CSU Long Beach Studio Theater. This event is part of a new series of community-wide conversations, developed by the Long Beach Opera and centered around its 40th anniversary theme of justice, intended to spark discussions inspired by art beyond the theater lobby.
