Council meeting: June 25 in San Andreas

The California Arts Council will hold its next business meeting on Tuesday, June 25, at the Calaveras Performing Arts Center in San Andreas. The public is invited to attend and to address the Council during the public comment period. A detailed agenda is available here.

CAC Career Opportunity: Arts in Corrections Analyst

Join our team at the California Arts Council as our Arts in Corrections Analyst, providing support for our innovative rehabilitative arts program for people experiencing incarceration in California state prisons. Apply by July 1.

NEA assistance available for rural communities

The National Endowment for the Arts Citizens' Institute on Rural Design is now open for applications, offering funding and technical assistance to communities with populations of 50,000 or less to address local challenges related to economic vitality and quality of life through design solutions. New this year to the CIRD program is a peer learning component for rural leaders that features training in design, planning, community engagement, and facilitation techniques as well as support in navigating funding opportunities.
