ACTA 2021 apprenticeship cycle now openFor more than 20 years, the Alliance for California Traditional Arts Apprenticeship Program has bolstered California's cultural traditions through the support of outstanding traditional artists and practitioners. The Apprenticeship Program encourages the continuity of the state's thriving traditional arts and cultures by contracting mentor artists to offer intensive, one-on-one training to qualified apprentices. Each $3,000 contract will support a period of concentrated learning, from six months to a year, for apprentices who demonstrate a committed engagement with, and a talent for, a specific traditional art form or cultural practice.
